To meet growing demand, GASAA’s highly regarded Truly Green environmental management training course is now offered as a blended online and face-to-face program.

25 leading print firms have now enrolled in the GASAA Truly Green certification course to become ISO14001 ready, and GASAA has made it even more convenient and affordable to gain the ultimate green credentials with GASAA.

To aid self-paced learning, course participants have login access to all five GASAA Truly Green ISO14001 training modules, including FSC and PEFC Chain of Custody requirements. Prepared by our head trainer, Paul Kohn (AKP Leura), the online content comes with training notes, policy templates, copies of generic procedures and training presentations that participants can use, and access to regular chat sessions with Paul and other course participants.

The GASAA Truly Green blended online and in-person approach is costed at $4,950 or can be done in stages costing $1,500 (ERI); $1650 (ERII) and $2,800 (Truly Green) ex GST.

We will continue to include face-to-face training sessions as an important part of the group dynamics of the GASAA Truly Green certification. However having all of the course resources securely available online, with direct back-up from the team at AKP Leura, firms will be able to more readily schedule training around their own business needs and timing”

We will also be able to start firms immediately on their green journey with GASAA, commencing with the online component ahead of the next face-to-face meeting. More distant education will be possible with the introduction of the additional e-learning tools. There will be no waiting around to start the program, and any firm, regardless of their physical location, will be able start their green journey with GASAA” said Mr Knespal.

The complete blended training course has been costed very competitively and is available in stages or a package. Stage 1 (Environmentally Responsible ERI) delivers a comprehensive awareness of the requirements and benefits of implementing an environmental management system. Stage 2 (Environmentally Responsible ERII) ensures participants’ firms achieve measurable financial improvements from the implementation of an EMS. Stage 3 (Truly Green) ties everything together, ensuring site and key personnel are ready to receive GASAA’s assurance that a EMS is in place capable of gaining full ISO14001 certification.
